Forget carwashes - start selling dog tags!

A known method of raising funds for schools, teams and other organizations is the weekend carwash at a local parking lot. The conditions for all the individuals participating in this activity is not as fun as it seems – they are in the heat all day washing cars for donations or a very low price.

To avoid the Florida heat a local baseball team decided to take another approach. They contacted X-Tag and we designed a tag with the team’s name and mascot. We even helped them create a simple order form for all the team members to distribute for individuals interested in purchasing a personalized tag.

The fundraiser was a great success for them. They did not have to be outside in the heat flashing signs for a carwash and getting burnt by the sun. All they had to do was tell their family, friends, and dropping off the order form at their community centers and family workplaces. With the money they collected the team was able to finally purchase new uniforms!

Schools making money!

A couple of weeks ago we talked about how X-Tag Dog Tags can be a great contribution for different organizations that are looking to raise some funds. A perfect example is a University in the state of Florida (school name can not be disclosed) that has decided to start selling X-Tag Dog Tags at all their sporting events – and the results have been nothing but exceptional!

With our easy to use dog tag embosser they have found volunteers to work the machine and have stocked up on school color tags from X-Tag. The University has been setting up a spot at all the games – football, baseball, and all other major sports. Their investment was low and extremely profitable.
